What does AEP mean for those already enrolled in Medicare?
Medicare’s Annual Election Period is quickly approaching. Soon the TV will be blasting commercials, newspapers will be filled with AEP ad’s and your mail volume will soon double.
But what does that mean to someone who is already enrolled in Medicare and has already chosen how they are going to supplement their original Medicare?
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) gives Medicare eligible citizens a chance to “revisit” your drug plans or Medicare Advantage/Prescription Drug plans once a year to prepare you for the following January. This is when you can let us know if you have had any changes in your medication list, changes in your doctors and even look and see if the plan you have is still the best fit for you.
Make a plan to see Lori Good at Beck Insurance Agency during this time to make sure that you are prepared for the coming new year. Lori would be happy to look over any policies that you have and answer questions to make sure you are comfortable with your choice and are ready to start the new year with the right plan for you!
