I’m married, do we need to carry the same Medicare supplement plan?
The short answer is no.
Married or single, each individual person may choose and carry their own plans for both Medicare supplements as well as prescription drug coverage. At Beck Insurance Agency, we consider each individual’s particular needs and find what plan works best for them. Often during an appointment, we find that one person fits well with a medical supplement and a stand alone drug plan, while their spouse is better suited with an Advantage plan. We will take the time to look into all options and educated our clients on the differences between plans, costs, and answer all questions to make sure each client is happy with the plan they ultimately choose.
