Do my spouse and I have to be on the same Medicare plans?
The short answer is no.
Each individual can have their own plan for both medical coverage as well as prescription coverage. We look at each client as an individual and find what plans work best for that person.
Many times during an appointment, we find that one individual fits with a Medicare Supplement with a separate, stand alone drug plan while the spouse fits better with a Medicare Advantage plan.
